Our office is in Verwood between the South Coast and the beautiful New Forest, a short distance from Bournemouth and Southampton. This is where we test all our products and send everything out to our great customers. Customer Service Manager

 

Salary: Always Competitive

Verwood, Dorset (Easily commutable from Bournemouth)

 

The role:

 

This role will be working with various functions in the business including the Warehouse Manager, Sales Director and Merchandiser. You will be responsible for both trade and consumer customer service enquiries for the Barista&Co and nixxee brands.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for the below tasks:

 

  • Manage and respond to customer requests through all channels (social media, email, LiveChat and telephone)
  • Take responsibility for managing all forms of direct contact with customers
  • Log all activities on the CRM system
  • Understanding the needs of customers and preempt potential issues
  • Liaise with the warehouse to ensure returns and replacements happen in a timely manner
  • Filter inbound sales leads and assign to the relevant sales person
  • Process customer orders when placed away from websites
  • Explain product features to customers (on request)
  • Create customer FAQ’s for the marketing team
  • Ensure customers receive technical information when requested
  • Respond to customer requests through the marketplace channels
  • Keeping customers happy always and establish industry leading standards

 

The Person:

 

You will be confident and enjoy communicating with customers and potential customers by telephone and email. It is important that you can work autonomously and feel confident in providing your own solutions to keep customers happy. Most importantly you must be able to smile and have fun. As a young company, we work hard but also want to play hard. You will have a real can-do attitude, a sense of adventure and enjoy new challenges.

 

Qualifications/Experience/Skills:

 

  • Degree of 2:2 or equivalent is preferred but not essential
  • A minimum of three years’ experience in a customer service role
  • Good organisational skills - able to manage priorities under pressure
  • Confidence and diplomacy when dealing with challenging customers
  • The ability to think on your feet and find solutions
  • Able to demonstrate a keen passion to finish tasks
  • Knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent English both written and verbal is essential
  • Strong team player with ability to effectively listen, contribute and influence
  • An ideas person – the company is very inclusive and looks for all members of staff to bring ideas to the table
